"A New Leash On Life"

Shorty & Dakota

Shorty is apparently a Corgi mix of some description - has the big ears, the large head, the long body and the short legs; he doesn't seem to have as much of a double coat as the Pembroke and is longer in the back, like the Cardigan. He's quite young and is, at this time, rather reserved and shy. We've not seen any herding instincts or chase reflex with this boy, but he's still getting adjusted to his new life style. He enjoys tummy rubs and treats and should respond quite well to the New Leash on Life program; He will be ready for a new owner the early part of September.

Dakota is what we call a 'cashew' dog, in that she wiggles in the middle with every wag of her tail - which is all the time - she's a typical 'Boxer' in temperament; playful, energetic and a clown; her alert and curious manner speaks well for her intelligence and tractability to training. She will be ready for her new owner the early part of September.
